BLURB: According to legend, when humankind is at its most desperate, the goddess Sirius will send three of the most powerful werewolf shifters ever created to save mankind. However, because they are so powerful, they will need a fourth to complete them, to calm them and help them reach their full potential.

Aden, a young were, has been his pack’s omega ever since, at the age of fifteen, he didn’t shift like everyone else. Caught, reviled, and tortured because of his empathic abilities, he knew on the night he was told to run as sport for the pack hunters that it would end in his death. What he didn’t know, however, was that on the same night he’d also meet the love of his life and a pathway to answers, because Aden is far more than just a pack omega.

What begins as a hunt soon becomes a new adventure as Aden discovers that he has not only one, but three destined mates, and his role as lover is far more than trivial. The fate of all humankind rests upon it.

lorraineMpreg is a big thing in the book world at the moment and I must admit that it certainly has caught my attention – big time! I’m hooked. Unfortunately, navigating the book market to find well-written ones is like trying to find a needle in a hay stack – yes, I have found a couple of good ones but the rest? shall we say…..disappointing? But I’m a happy reader today, I’ve found the most amazing  mpreg book – Orion’s Circle.
This is the first book of the series and the mpreg scenario is being continued in book 2, so don’t expect full closure on this first edition. All I will say is, that the mental image I have of Blaze chasing round after a toddler is going to be amazing.
Now to the storyline –
He’s on the run, his parents were ripped apart by the Pack and now it’s his turn. Months and months of being tortured and mis-treated has taken its toll, he can’t run any further, he accepts his fate and the fact that the Sirius Wolves are just a myth. The Pack has him surrounded……..it’s all over!
But it’s not…..
Aden is saved not by one man but three! and little Omega Aden is their mate, they will protect him with their lives because he is the destined Fourth – the fourth to complete the Orion’s Circle – the ruling centre for all werewolves, to safeguard the world they want to share with the humans.
The author did a magnificent job of outlining this complex storyline, personally I loved the complexity the author weaved, it was riveting and enthralling. She held my interest throughout – twists and turns in every page and heartache, my poor Aden! (keep the tissues handy). Though I don’t do spoilers, it does have a happy ending for the wonderful Aden (I adored him) and talking of the ending, the books ends in such a way, it’s perfect for the opening of the next book and boy-oh-boy am I ready!
Though I came willingly, the author pulled me into this wonderful story and I become a captive, lost in the world she created – I LOVED THIS BOOK!
No hesitation in awarding 5*
