BLURB: Finlay McIntyre (aka Raven) is a successful adult film star with a penchant for kilts, until an accident cuts short his stardom and leaves him with zero sexual desire, lowered self-esteem, and no job. He knew his porn career wouldn’t last forever, but he wasn’t prepared for retirement at twenty-eight. While trying to figure out the rest of his life, Raven agrees to attend a high school reunion. That’s when a malfunctioning AC unit in his hotel room changes everything.

Caleb Sanderson, an entrepreneur with his own HVAC business, has no idea what to expect when he steps into Raven’s hotel room to fix his AC unit. They’re attracted to each other, but Caleb, closeted, can’t afford a gay relationship, not with his mom pressuring him to produce grandchildren. If he wants to keep Raven—who no closet could hold—he’ll need to tell his family the truth. But Raven has a few secrets of his own. He refuses to reveal his porn past to Caleb, a past that might be the final obstacle to Caleb and Raven having any kind of relationship.

Sweet, romantic love story you will enjoy very much if you like hot men, kilts, and true emotions. This book has all the elements you need to get out of your life and spend a few hours in reading/fantasy world.

Raven is a wonderful, strong character with a painful past and a life altering accident, trying to find his way in life in completely new circumstances. His story is well written, slowly unfolding from chapter to chapter. I really like how we get to know him and what had happened to him. He is a retired porn star giving some very intriguing insight to a world most of us are somewhat familiar with and definitely interested in… but having an insider’s point of you can be truly eye opening in some aspects. When he meets Caleb, their immediate attraction towards each other throws them for a loop as neither of them expected such strong, long-lasting emotions for first sight.

Caleb is an ordinary guy being out everywhere except home, with his family, which, you guess it correctly, leads to a number of conflicts… I seriously love Caleb’s cousin, out and proud Jaime, who is a riot and adds some witty spice to the story. Caleb and Raven form a lovely couple, sticking to the old-fashioned, romantic type of dating, slowly getting to know each other. Their chemistry works perfectly from the first moment, and it turns from hot to sweet then something truly sizzling. We get to see some tender, loving scenes as well as some hot, sensual ones that made my stomach flutter and my heart melt.

The only thing that bothered me a little bit was that the main conflict came a little too late and the resolve after it too quickly. But maybe I just hate complications, so it’s on me. I simply couldn’t put it down. Highly recommended!
