BLURB: Finally going from fake boyfriends to the real thing, Spencer Cohen and Andrew Landon are trying to take things slow. They know what they have could be something special and despite the flammable sexual tension, they don’t want to crash and burn.
Spencer is learning to open up and share the secrets of his past with Andrew. Afraid to put his heart on the line but unable to stop himself, Spencer knows he’s falling in love. Andrew is petrified of leaping in blindly, yet the slower they go, the faster they fall.
As they navigate their new relationship, Spencer worries Andrew will freak out when he takes on a new client. But it’s not a normal case, and Spencer soon realises all is not what it seems. When the job takes a downward turn, Spencer and Andrew work together to help the client. They’ll need to decide if they’re ready for the next step.
All I can say up is that N.R. Walker is a genius! 5 stars are not nearly enough to describe the perfection of this book.
In the first book, we were introduced to Andrew and Spencer, the most perfect and wonderful men.
In my review of book 1, I laid down my foundations in expressing how impressed I was with these two and I may have mentioned that I thought that Andrew was hiding a bit in the shadows, well if he was, he’s certainly not now….Andrew shines like the brightest star in the darkest of nights, he was just so brilliant!
The story starts exactly where book 1 finished, N.R. Walker wasted no time, it was sweet and so engaging. .
I love the interaction between Andrew and Spencer. How they joke and messaged like teenagers. Their new relationship is fresh and fizzy, just like the bubbles in freshly poured champagne and like champagne, once you taste these men and you never forget how wonderful they are.
Both of them, for different reasons, have to learn how to be in a relationship and they learn together how to resolve any misunderstandings.
Spencer’s new Client added substance to their storyline but the author never lets us lose our focus on Andrew and Spencer.
We also discovered a new side of Andrew…..a bossy side. And I have to say, it was perfect for his character.
It was an amazing journey looking at these two men falling completely in love with each other. For readers who like the hot sex in their reading, this was more in the terms of sweet hot sex, rather than the normal “fucking “ that seems to be appearing more and more in books, Spencer and Andrew made love and it was a delight to read.
“Each movement was tender, timed with his breaths. Each thrust was in sync with my heart”.
I really love how this author can makes you feel the deep emotions of her characters. Because of the words she writes, you live that story and it becomes so real.
Can’t wait to read the end of this wonderful trilogy.
5 big fat stars from me, more if I could.
****I would like to thank the Author for the opportunity and privilege of reading this ARC. My review was an honest opinion of the book****
