RELEASE DATE: December 14, 2015
Blurb: When we last met Brian and Morgan, they were trying to get back on track with their relationship while Brian missed the man who’d stepped aside, Pez.
In book two, we find them still learning to rekindle their love and lifestyle. Morgan finds a job in an unexpected place, one where they respect his role as Brain’s submissive and gives him hope that his dream isn’t over.
Brian is making headway in the prison, at least with most of his patients, and has a new patient he wasn’t expecting, one of the guards. Spencer is asking for help, but Brian can’t figure out his cryptic cry for help.
Pez is spiraling down a road of self-destruction, but one night out with Tony and friends finds him being pulled back into Brian’s life, and Brian’s law.
When he knows that he can’t live without both of his boys, Brian brings in help. Pez and Morgan, trying to kill each other half the time, must face that Brian wants them both. Can they live with that, or will Brian end up without either of them?
I love recommending books and this one comes highly recommended.
Rain Carrington’s Second Chances is the second book in the Denver Series and you need to read this series in order because each book can’t be read as a stand alone but by reading book 1 first, it will help to fully appreciate the age old saying “and then there were 3….”
This book is a succession of emotions, they suck you in and you can’t stop reading it, it’s so addictive.
In the first book, it looked like everything was lost to Pez, but in this one, we find hope. Hope fed by love, it fills not only your heart but your soul as well.
Brian’s heart is just so big. Big enough to hold and love Morgan (his first true love) but also has room for Pez as well. Pez is the man who helped him fight back and to live again after Morgan dropped him without any explanation whatsoever.
But of course, this raises questions –
Has Morgan and Pez got enough love in them for Brian, to accept a polyamory/triad/threesome relationship?
Will they be able to get over their own insecurities and jealousies, which will lead them to see their Dom truly and finally happy?
We are now going to have to wait for book 3 to find out, but it promises to have even more twists, turns and emotions and I for one, can’t wait!
s I said at the beginning of my review, highly recommended.
