BLURB:The course of true love never did run smooth. Ryan is settling into his role as a new father and the royal consort of Mikos, the fierce and handsome Prince of Tygeria. He’s still deeply in love and happy—most of the time. But the former Alliance colonel is a bit restless, and even though he loves his child and his mate, he needs a bit more to occupy his time. Mikos thinks giving him more babies to care for will help, but Ryan comes up with a different idea for some diversion and physical challenge by forming his own team for the dangerous Arena Games.

Meanwhile, Haggoz and Kevin are deeply involved in a much more serious game of their own. The king warned Haggoz that punishing his own mate and holding him prisoner would be nearly impossible, but Haggoz can’t bear to be parted from him. Locked in a seemingly endless war between his love for the former marine and his duty to his king, Haggoz is struggling to survive. Just when it seems that they’re hopelessly deadlocked, Mikos and Haggoz go on what should be a routine mission against an ARes training facility on a distant moon.

When disaster strikes and word gets back to Ryan that Mikos and Haggoz are both in terrible danger, he embarks on a desperate mission to save them and bring them safely home. Ryan finds an unlikely ally in Kevin to help him save the men and discover that even though the course may be rocky, true love will always find its way.

Well, well, well, the author certainly got a couple of Tyger’s by their tails on this second book of the Tyger Prince Series, but did she bite off more than she could chew?

Oh hell no! she had that eye of the tiger firmly in her sights and delivered BIG TIME.

We are treated to two storylines running side-by-side and then entwining together to make perfect reading. We pick up where book 1 left off – Kevin being held prisoner with Haggoz as his personal prison guard and Mikos and Ryan, settling down to family life and both trying to find even ground to build their relationship.  We also got Blake.  For me, he is one of the best characters that Ms West has ever written, I love his wit, his cunningness, his loyalty and the love he has for his children and King, I will always want more Blake (that’s a hint author, please take note).

Haggoz cannot stay away from Kevin, even though his betrayal shattered him to pieces and Kevin is beside himself with remorse. How can these two, so obviously in love, put the past behind them and move on?  That is of course, depending on whether Kevin could ever get a Royal Pardon?

Meanwhile, Ryan has lost his mojo, he loves his family so much but needs something more. The solution?  a human team entering the Exhibition Games.  Of course Mikos is having none of it and we all know that when you rile a Tyger, he’s going to show his claws!

Hoggoz and Mikos have to go on a mission, a week at the most. The weeks go bye and no Haggoz and no Mykos!  Kevin and Ryan go together to save their Tyger’s…….and save they did.  Got to say that Kevin had both English Bulldog determination and Bengal tiger strength, he did well, but then again, so did Ryan, both really coming into their own, which also means that their Mates may never recover……

Loved, loved, loved it. If I had one little, little criticism, it would be Jeffrey?  The whole reason behind Kevin’s betrayal was Jeffrey and yet it was underplayed, not enough effort put into finding him, as if it didn’t really matter?  Hopefully, this will be explained in book 3?

Oh, and the bet between Mikos and Ryan? Ryan is going to have to try a lot harder for Mykos to even consider it!  Can’t wait to see how Ryan finally seduces Mikos into it, it’s going to be hot, hot, hot.

Loved the first book, loved the second book and I know I’m going to love the third book (hoping it’s going to be Blake’s story).

No dark stars from me, all five shining bright, tiger stars from me.
