BLURB: Bryan Jenkins is a quiet, handsome, yet otherwise ordinary man—he never expects anything unexpected.
Following a traumatic childhood as an adopted child, he has carefully pared down his life to the basics, and it is a routine and mundane existence that makes Bryan feel most at ease.
Until strange happenings begin to take place.
A bizarre episode of unconsciousness suddenly upsets Bryan’s ordered life. Even more troubling is the tear in his bedroom curtain and the footprints in the flowerbed underneath his window. And amidst these terrifying occurrences, why has he suddenly started dreaming about a beautiful human-like being who feels closer and more familiar to Bryan than anyone he has ever known?
With the sensual dreams continuing to escalate, and accompanied by strange physical symptoms, Bryan begins to really worry. Is he going mad? Or is the explanation at once straightforward and impossible?

This is a stand alone story with a HEA and no cliffhangers.

We’ve had serial podcasts, serial killers and now Odin Nightshade has introduced me to the Serial Quickie! – and I rather enjoyed the experience.

Like all quickies, it’s short, fast and with little foreplay, but the author did find time to lay down at least the basics of this mpreg new series. As its short, there are many questions left unanswered, especially towards the ending (no spoilers from me), but he did manage very successfully to get me to think of Bryan as a real person, I felt his confusion, I understood his logical thinking in self diagnosing  his symptoms and I loved the way he wrote notes to himself so that he wouldn’t forget* nice touch author*

Just as it was getting really interesting and a few questions were finally being answered, it ended! but I have enough interest to see where this author is going with this storyline and will the little bundle of joy, be a blue bundle of joy, or will the author use his imagination and surprise us all?

On a serious note, I would have liked the author to have at least considered Bryan thinking of protected sex. He is an organised and controlled person, even in the heat of the moment, Bryan being Bryan would have questioned it, having said that, with Cyanos’s genetic make-up, it would most probably have been no barrier what-so-ever, but still…….

I’m looking forward to the next part of this serialisation and hopefully find out more about Cyanos, his world and of course, how Bryan’s pregnancy is going?
