BLURB: Sometimes home is what two hearts make of it.
After fifteen years on the road, rock singer Saul Wilder doesn’t know if he remembers how to stay in one place. While healing from a vocal cord injury, he decides to restore the cozy but neglected Atlanta home his grandmother left him. When home renovation specialist Perry Abrams arrives to assess the job, Saul’s on board with mixing business with a little pleasure. The sex is scorching hot, but the more they learn about each other, the deeper they fall emotionally as well. Trouble is, Saul’s a traveling man and Perry’s a homebody, so finding common ground to share could put the brakes on their relationship before it has a chance to get started.
Tongue and Groove is a great, entertaining love story about two guys who are at the right place at the right time to find their perfect match in each other. Two men, who never would have met without some peculiar circumstances, find their happy place with some obstacles and fun kink thrown into the mix.
We meet Saul Wilder, a veteran rock singer, who is healing from a serious vocal cord injury. He decides to restore his teenage home, which he inherited from his grandmother, while he is recovering. Enters the scene, Perry Abrams, home renovation specialist extraordinaire and we get the perfect set of main characters for an entertaining story. Saul and Perry are trying to maintain a professional relationship despite their mutual attraction with questionable success… for our greatest pleasure. The chemistry is amazing between these two and it does not take long until they do not want to resist temptation any longer.
There’s a nice balance of background story, developing feelings, a well-built getting-to-know-each-other line, and the perfect amount of sweet and hot sexytime with a touch of kink. The plotline has a great pace, with enough action and emotion to keep the reader excited and intrigued. The conflict seemed a bit out of place for me, a bit forced and abrupt, but then it all makes perfect sense with Perry’s background story. The situation is also very nicely solved, and it leads to a very fulfilling and heartwarming ending.
If you are looking for a fun, sexy read that will warm your heart and inspire your fantasy, this is a great read for you. Enjoy!
