Seth would follow Domenico to the depths of hell. He promised to always be at Domenico’s side. But hell becomes all too real when they infiltrate the world of Toro – a notoriously security-obsessed arms dealer, who has eyes and ears everywhere.

Seth becomes unable to steal even a moment of intimacy with Domenico, and the tension grinds them down each day. Beyond the deceptive paradise of Toro’s villa, violence is an everyday occurrence, and the swimming pool could just as well be filled with blood. To survive, Seth has to become the man Domenico needs him to be, but in the process, he might lose who he truly is.

With Seth trained up, and Mark as backup, victory is so close Domenico can taste it. They just need to prove themselves to Toro as valuable assets. With each day though, Seth seems to be drifting away from Domenico, hidden behind a mask of cruelty and indifference. It is exactly what Domenico asked of him, so why is it so difficult to see Seth become his mirror image?

Without doubt the best one of the Series, no one else writes Dark Romance of this quality like Kat and Agnes Merikan.

It’s the most amazing of on-going Series, it has the most amazing character’s, the most amazinness of a storyline AND the ultimate amazinglysexysexness. Yep, lots of amazingness going on here.

“I don’t even know who I am anymore”

“All you need to know is that you’re mine”

And those two simple sentences from the blurb, sums up this totally addictive storyline so very well.

But it’s not just Seth that’s changed, Domenico has too. He has always tried to encourage Seth to be more like him, be stronger and to be tougher.  But he’s now realising that in making him do so, he’s losing the fundamental essence of who Seth really is.  The essence that Dom fell in love with.  The exclusive characteristic essence that only Seth could own and the one that Dom would lay down his life for.  Does he really want Seth to change who he is?

If we think back to Book 1, we can remember how Seth was in those days – forgetting to put on the safety of his gun, the Top that realised he loved being a Bottom in the safety of Dom’s arms and the flirt that thought lemon cupcakes with an icing topping, could solve all problems. Do we want Seth to change?

Like Dom, I fell in love with Seth too. Unlike Seth though, I didn’t fall in love with the arrogant Domenico.  That came when I joined them on their journey to finding who the real Mr. Tropico is?

And their journey has now taken them to Columbia, together with Mark and Miguel and what an intriguing character he is! I seriously need his full background storyline and is his mentoring of Mark purely that or something deeper?  Hmmmm…..

And talking of Mark, WTF!!!!!!   didn’t see that one coming, but he came good for his Family and that’s what Dom has been trying to instil in him – it’s all about family, The Vincitore Family.  While we are talking about family, I might as well mention the evil, pregnant Dana.

But she came through for Dom, now THAT did surprised me. What’s her real agenda?  I used to think that she was in love with Dom, now I’m not so sure unless she intends to bump off Seth?  You never know how these two authors are going to go, what to shock you with next, but I think it’s going to be real shock worthy.

We also get introduced to Nero. What an enigma he is!  And to make matters worse, I think he has designs or should that be, desires? on Seth!

Through Dom’s manipulations and outright killing, he has now secured a home for his Family and ready to take on Raul Moreno to get closer to Mr. Tropico, but without alerting the back at home Italians.  Will it all work out?

Don’t forget to read the Post-credits scene at the end, another surprise I didn’t see coming!

 5* #TeamDomandSeth stars from me.
