BLURB: Ian Pierce is the chef and part owner of the hottest restaurant in Cincinnati, his chosen family is full of happy relationships, and the scruffy, snarky cop who has been haunting his dreams is one step closer to being in his bed. But everything comes crashing down when the past he narrowly escaped nine years ago comes to a deadly head.

Hollis Banner was enamored of Ian at first sight. He’s kept his distance, knowing the gorgeous, self-confident man is out of his league. Yet there’s no standing aside when Boris Jagger escapes a raid. Jagger’s world has been nearly destroyed and this time, the crime boss is coming after Ian and his friends personally.

Hollis will do whatever it takes to keep Ian safe as they escape to a safe house with a couple of Ian’s overprotective friends. And Ian finds himself in a race to unlock painful memories—memories containing information that could take down the very last of Jagger’s illegal operations forever.

FedericaFirstly I want to say that this is a really wonderful Series and I have loved every book.  Each book was based on one of four friends – Lucas, Snow, Rowe and Ian.  This book is Ian’s story.
I’ll be honest and say that Ian has never been one of my favourites, he’s been too much in the shadows with his friends in the other books but my curiosity was roused and I was looking forward to finding out his story.
We already knew bits about him from the other books – how they all became friends and Ian’s tragic past (which had already shredded my heart to pieces) but despite everything that had happened, he was not only strong and positive but a wonderful character as well.
So as I have said, I was looking forward to finding out more about him and hopefully keeping my heart whole in the process as this time, I was prepared.
But I wasn’t……..
I don’t want to go down the spoiler route, because I feel that this is the type of book you need to go in blind and read the storyline unprepared, but I will say this……I lost count the number of times I almost had a heart attack, the twists and turns of the storyline continued until the very last page, I was on the edge of my seat.  Yes, it’s full of action but also it’s full of love as well, this book like all the others in the Series, is simply amazing.
The two authors are also amazing and very talented.  But I will say as well,  that they are also diabolical!!! they put us readers and their characters through so much, but I may forgive them in time because Ian and Hollis are just perfect together.
The thought that this is the last book in the Series is shattering, it’s going to be so hard to let go of these guys but we have Rowe and Noah’s and Ian and Hollis’s short stories to look forward to.

****I would like to thank the author for the privilege and opportunity of reading this ARC.  My review is an honest opinion of the book****

TITLE: Guided Heart: Rio de Janeiro
AUTHOR: P.J. Nevada
PUBLISHER: Self Publishing
GENRE: Contemporary
PRICE: $ 3.52 e-book on Amazon
LENGHT: 141 pages
RELEASE DATE: 16th March 2017

BLURB: Michael Adams, seeking a week of relaxation on the beaches of Rio, wants nothing more than a couple of airport transfers and to take in a sight or two. But when his sexy, young Brazilian driver Gabriel makes himself available for a day of touring, Michael takes him up on the offer. The attraction is mutual, except that Gabriel is not looking for a rebound romance after a bad breakup from his abusive boyfriend. And who wants to start a relationship that must be over by the end of the week, leaving both parties on two different continents?

But urge and desire can be strong, maybe even enough to get through some hurdles, such as Gabriel’s hostile sister? Enjoy the tropical warmth of the beaches of Rio and the sultry jungles of Brazil, where almost anything is possible in this m/m tale of erotic romance. Adult language warning.

After journeying through three countries so far and finding that special loves which is a keeper forever, I was a bit concerned that the author may be a bit jet-lagged, his circadian rhythm out of sync with his visa’s (lol) and therefore a bit lacklustre in his latest destination of Rio de Janeiro, but if anything, he STRUCK GOLD IN RIO!! For me, the best one yet.

My imagination was captured with his descriptive vibe of Rio – sandy golden beaches, lush tropical greenery and the golden tans of the Rio men themselves but it was Michael Adams and Gabriel Feliz that truly captivated me and held my attention throughout. If ever two men deserved to be together, it’s these two.

I’ve been thinking why this Series ticks my boxes so well and decided it’s all down to the simplicity of it – tourist going on holiday, meeting his guide and falling in love. Add PJ Nevada’s romantic flair of writing sexy romance and the pure elegance of that simplicity, we have another winner on our hands.

It may be all down to the heat of Rio, but this was definitely the hottest and sexiest book of the Series so far, they samba’d those bedsheets many, many times. But it’s not just the sex, it’s the clever way the author makes his MC’s so endearing, they are not only likeable and lovable, but realistic as well.  They have problems, usually down to the legal intricacies of staying together and I don’t know whether the author has inside information or whether his research is meticulous, and I suspect it’s the meticulous aspect, but it’s very believable and I have no doubt that it is correct and it’s this intricate detailing that makes his stories stand out from the rest.

We’ve all been on holidays, fallen in love and realise on return, that it was lust and not love, but this author’s stories are love stories, they don’t return home and move on to someone else, they return and stay.

Five golden Brazilian stars from me.

****I would like to thank the author for the opportunity and privilege of reviewing this ARC. My opinions of this book, were entirely my own.****

TITLE: Cozzi Cove: New Beginnings
AUTHOR: Joe Cosentino
PUBLISHER: NineStar Press
SERIES: Cozzi Cove #4
GENRE:  Contemporary Romance
PRICE: $ 4,99 on Amazon
LENGTH: 214 pages
RELEASE DATE: 27th March 2017

BLURB: Welcome back to the romantic and magical place called Cozzi Cove, seven guest bungalows on the New Jersey Shore.

This summer, Cal and his new husband, Michael, along with sister, Taylor, and her wife, Carla, prepare for the first in the next generation of Cozzis. To add to the action: Cal finds his great-grandfather’s diary, exposing a shocking surprise; Michael and Taylor weigh new job opportunities that could take them far away from Cozzi Cove; red-letter Christian and new houseboy, Billy Dean, gets his wish when meeting Jesus and John at the cove; summer guest, Nijad, can’t decide which sibling he prefers—Annabel or Andrew; and Jonathan, an occult enthusiast, encounters a sexy vampire.

As usual, nothing is as it seems when romance blossoms once again at Cozzi Cove. What secrets, mysteries, and passions lie waiting to unfold? Find out in Book Four of the Cozzi Cove series.

“Love is love. It’s rare and precious.  If it’s real, you’ll know when you have it.  And If you do, you won’t want to let it go” – Joe Cosentino, 2017.

Part of my anticipation in reading the Cozzi Cove Series is finding out who’s checking in on the Guest List this season and their baggage that they are bringing with them – and I’m not talking suitcases here……

Each guest that checks into one of the Cozzi Cove bungalows has a story to tell, some hilariously funny, some sad but in the very capable hands of this author, we know it’s going to be another memorable season.

We were given a quick catch up with the Cozzi’s themselves – Cal and Michael have been married a year now, as have George and Aaron and Taylor and Carla with the Hot-Off-The-Press news that Carla is heavily pregnant with Cal and Michael’s baby after offering to be a Surrogate for them. My trolley-dolly Connor has been replaced by Billy Dean Boyd, he is studying theatre but spouts his Grampa’s  expressions with such a fluency that I was left with that 24 carat feeling which made great reading, I think my favourite being “I’m dryer than a tree bribing a dog” but it’s a hard decision because they are all such little gems.

So who were our Guests this season? Well, we had a Travel Agent, Flight Attendants, a Tax Auditor, a senior Editor of a very famous magazine, Jesus and his disciple John (yep, you read that right) and let’s not forget the unforgettable method actor, Count Dracula….

As you can see, quite a bunch of somewhat oddball, quirky but definitely interesting group of Guests. And Joe Cosentino gets full kudos for giving every character their own specialness that made such entertaining and somewhat gut-busting reading, so remember the hankies when reading to mop up the tears of laughter, as they come in quick succession!

For me, this Series is about love, finding yourself and most of all acceptance. The author always subtly infuses a moral message into his stories and this one was no exception, a wake up call to remind us that though someone may be different, it doesn’t make them a lesser person and being different should be embraced, not disgraced or shamed, but accepted for whom they are.

I’ll always check in with Joe Cosentino, he is the “thinking author” of sexy fun, memorable characters and creativity, where hope can become reality.

Five big fat stars from me.

REVIEW: “HUNTER” by Dakota Storm

TITLE: Hunter
AUTHOR: Dakota Storm
GENRE: Contemporary Romance
PRICE: $ 2.89 e-book on Amazon
LENGHT: 96 pages
RELEASE DATE: 11st February 2017

BLURB: Sexy-as-sin bounty hunter Hunter Jones lives, eats, and breathes his next case. He’s always been content to live his life on the road with no attachments and no one to answer to. Love is for other people. But when he stops in a small town for a little R&R and meets up with a fellow bounty hunter to review a case, he runs into the man of his wet dreams. Hunter isn’t ready for love, but Van turns his head and heart upside down.

Donovan “Van” Madsen has it all: a lucrative business, a close-knit family, and a best friend. But something is missing. Van always dreamed of finding the “one,” but never thought it would happen … until Hunter.

The mutual attraction is instant and intense between the two men. Neither can say goodbye.

When trouble brews and Van is kidnapped, Hunter realizes life is too short to not take what he wants. In this action-packed romance, both men’s lives are on the line and their love might not be enough to save them.

I said that 2017 was going to be my year of re-reads and finding new authors. I’ve just found my first one of the year, Dakota Storm.  And what a find – well I suppose technically, she found me…….

Dakota Storm is a newbie author, this is her debut book and I was left thinking with the thought, that if this is her first, what high quality entertainment is she going to be offering in the future? Because she is going to have to go some to beat this, I loved it.

She’d done her homework, it was very polished and had that insta-love shine that gave it the gleam of a 5* read for me. Yes, there were a couple of things that didn’t sit quite right with me – one being the excessive use of “babe” but hey, she is a new author, learning her trade, for me a little hiccup, no real biggie and certainly not enough to deter me from my 5* rating.

Van Donovan and his best friend, Matty, own their own Construction Business, with Van studying architecture at night school. The business is doing well and Van should be content but he likes the bad boys, being dominated (with a light dose of a little rough) and the one-night stands that these bad boys offer, no longer has the appeal.  He wants a bad boy but commitment as well, something he knows he is not going to get.

Hunter Jones is truly the epitome of a bad boy AND a Bounty Hunter to boot.  He likes his one-night stands (his job doesn’t allow anything else) and as he is on the-top-of-his-game both professionally and sexually, he doesn’t want to change that.

One of his business associates, Rowdy, claims that he is working undercover for the FBI and needs Hunter’s help. At the same time, he meets Van.  Instantly his gut-feeling kicks in and he knows that Van is special, honest and totally trustworthy, unlike Rowdy.  Something is going on with Rowdy and Hunter doesn’t like it one little bit.

The author then gave us an exciting and well researched storyline. I was enthralled from start to finish.  I liked how she didn’t pussyfoot around Van and Hunter’s feelings for each other, they both knew what they wanted and went for it – these two weren’t pussies but both Tigers and would kill to protect what was their’s!

Looking forward to see what else Dakota Storm has planned for us in the future.

Five WOW, WOW, KAPOW stars from me.

TITLE: Falling Star Valentine
PUBLISHER: Evernight Publishing
GENRE: Contemporary
PRICE: $ 3,21 e-book on Amazon
LENGHT: 54 pages
RELEASE DATE: 7th February 2017

BLURB: Fashion photographer Dale Walker takes a train to his hometown, relocating there after nursing a broken heart for six months in another city. His train makes an unscheduled stop to take on a mysterious passenger.
For a long time, Valentine Steel has hoped to meet a man who will love him. When he sees Dale on the train, he’s overjoyed to find a vacant seat beside him.
Dale’s immediate attraction to Valentine has him on edge. He doesn’t want another broken heart, and yet Valentine is so magnetic that Dale’s frozen heart begins to thaw.
Valentine sets out to charm and capture Dale in his sparkling aura. He can’t let the chance to have Dale’s love slip away.

He didn’t want the heavens or even a shooting star, he just wanted love, commitment and to be loved. He found it, and it came in the form of a star……….

Valentine Steel, a heavenly star, fell from the night sky like a jewel in the rain. This was nearly his last chance of finding love on Earth – he’s hopeful: it’s nearly Valentine’s Day and with his first name as it is, he’s optimistic because he’s heard Dale’s call to the night time sky and he’s answering it……..

Dale is still recovering after finding his lover with another man in THEIR bed. He now knows the pain that falling in love brings and the loneliness that it leaves.  He’s no longer looking for love now, his heart cannot handle anymore heartbreak.  He calls up to the night time sky in despair, not realising that he’s been heard and Valentine is on his way…..

And E.D. Parr gave us a short and nice Valentine’s storyline.

For me, I missed her usual detailing, I know that due to length it is always hard to achieve but I just wanted more on Valentine, a bit more of an understanding of being a **star**

In the celestial sphere. But that’s me, you may think differently?

Having said that, I have to say that Dale initiated enough fuel to keep the temperature hot enough to initiate the fusion between them and therefore succeeded in maintaining enough equilibrium to make Valentine “his own Valentine Star” <see what I did there?>

Nice sexy read but with a bit more info, could have been a great sexy Valentine read.

 Four celestial stars from me.

TITLE: Cozzi Cove: stepping out
AUTHOR: Joe Cosentino
PUBLISHER: NineStar Press
SERIES: Cozzi Cove #3
GENRE:  Contemporary Romance
PRICE: $ 5.58 on Amazon
LENGTH: 216 pages
RELEASE DATE: 23rd January 2017

BLURB: It’s time for another summer of sun, sand, suntan lotion, sandals, and Speedos on Cozzi Cove at the New Jersey Shore. Cal Cozzi’s seven bungalows are once again open for love.

This summer, sexy Cal welcomes back his brother and sister, who are confronted with people from their pasts. Connor, the maid packed with muscle and mayhem, becomes the subject of a handsome young psychologist’s study on human sexuality. Tommy, the strapping, bald and tattooed local bartender, is captivated with guest Cory Magnum, a police officer with a secret. Another guest, Bill, a disbelieving pastor, is inspired by a vision of two sexy male angels on the cove. And Cal and Michael reach a plateau in their relationship.

What secrets, humor, tragedies, mysteries, and passions lie waiting to unfold in this magical place called Cozzi Cove?

****another winner from the Joe Cosentino stable****

Yet again this author showered us with the Cosentino magic, I was drenched in his drama, angst, ultimate love and…..angels, he certainly pulled another triumph from his magician’s hat.

For the uninitiated, Cozzi Cove is a gay holiday resort and after the death of his parents and with the help (financially) from his sister, his younger lover and recently found half brother, Cal runs it himself and has found his true calling.

So let’s talk about the Cozzi’s themselves…….

Cal. Owner of Cozzi Cove. In love with his younger lover, but still hung-up over the death of his husband.

Michael. Cal’s younger lover. “Star of Cal’s nights and his brightness in the mornings” but tried to gay-bash Cal on their first meeting! Now all he wants is for Call to make an honest man of him and marry him.  Michael needs this to make his life complete.

Taylor. Cal’s sister and financial wizard. With her mordant wit that she lavishly sprinkles over the people she loves, it covers the real Taylor and the secret she is hiding.

George. Cal and Taylor’s half brother. Gifted designer but still reeling from the shock that  the love of his life walked out on him because he wasn’t’t Jewish!

But it’s not just about the Cozzi’s and the webs they weave, it’s also about the Guests that check-in and check-out. But they never check out of our hearts.  We as readers, remember everyone of them – they are the real beauty of Cozzi Cove together with this author’s amazing talent – he makes these OTT characters stay with us, his characterisation is just phenomenal and therefore great fun to read, I never chuckle as much as I do as when I’m reading a Cosentino.

And I cannot resist but mention Connor. My all time favourite trolley dolly nymphomaniac.  His enthusiasm for sex leaves me gobsmacked but Connor is gobsmacked as well – he’s fallen madly in love and this time, it’s real love……

For me, Stepping Out, unlike the others in the Series, is about your past catching up with you. The truth will always come out and deeds will be punished but for some, maybe get their rewards they so deserve.

The Series goes from strength to strength with each new addition but don’t worry if you haven’t read the others yet, it can be read very successfully as a stand alone.

Five big fat stars from me.

TITLE: Falling for the Player
AUTHOR: Jessica Lee
PUBLISHER: Entangled: Embrace
GENRE: Contemporary
PRICE: $ 3.71 e-book on Amazon
LENGHT: 193 pages
RELEASE DATE: 16th January 2017

BLURB: Bad boy and former NFL running back Patrick Guinness is tired of meaningless sex. Ever since his scorching hot one-night stand three years ago, no one has interested him. So when Max Segreti wanders into his mechanic shop—and his life again—Patrick can’t stop thinking about the totally-out-of-his-league law grad and the possibility of getting him out of his system once and for all…

Max Segreti has spent his entire life doing what his father wants. But when he runs into the hotter-than-hell player he’s never been able to forget, he’s not thinking about studying for the bar. A distraction is the last thing he needs, but after an encounter leaves him wanting more, Max embraces the chaos that Patrick brings…even as he knows it can’t last. They’re too different to ever have a future together.

I for one certainly fell for these two players – Patrick Guinness and Max Segreti.

I loved this. For me, it was how the author showcased these two men’s imperfections that made it stand out from other m/m contemporary’s.  And not just their imperfections but also their great divide in wealth and cultural backgrounds.  But  true to Jessica Lee’s writing style, she also showed us that true love can overcome all.

It wasn’t an easy path and if you love your angst, you will be in seventh heaven with this entertaining offering. I’m the first to admit that I wanted to smack Patrick’s head a few times into a wall trying to knock some sense into him and show him what he was going to loose through his own pigheadedness and insecurities, but I left it to the very capable writing hands of Jessica Lee to do that for me and of course, Patrick’s younger brother – Liam (another character that the author captured the essence of youth and nobody-understands-me-generation magnificently).

They met three years previously and spent one very memorable night together. They were chalk and cheese, rich and poor, upcoming football star and soon to be upcoming lawyer in his father’s legal practice.  Both so different but both so right for each other at the same time.

But after reuniting after those years apart and Patrick now a blue collared worker rather than a rich and famous football player and Max about to take his bar exam and become a fully fledged lawyer in his fathers’ prestigious law firm, can these two (especially Patrick), overcome their pasts and forge ahead against all the obstacles and find true happiness together?       Course they can!

This is Jessica Lee here and she never lets us down – she may make us sweat it out as readers but she always gives us the endings we crave and need.

How did she do this? Read it yourselves to find out, you won’t be disappointed.

Loved it.

Five big fat stars from me.

TITLE: Guided Heart: Morocco
AUTHOR: P.J. Nevada
PUBLISHER: Self Publishing
GENRE: Contemporary
PRICE: $ 3,15 e-book on Amazon
LENGHT: 135 pages
RELEASE DATE: 18th December 2016

BLURB: Coming out of an unhealthy relationship, New Yorker Joe Cooper finds himself on a private tour of exotic Morocco as a parting gift from his ex-lover. Though not quite prepared, Joe still ventures on by himself with his holiday, paired with an eye-catching local man named Sam as his guide, who appears to be as straight and conservative as possible. Despite being charmed by his guide’s enthusiasm and swarthy good looks, Joe tries to focus on the beautiful country around him, which is filled with incredible history and a friendly, vibrant culture.

The more time they spend together, the more Joe and Sam notice each other. Whether trekking among Roman ruins or through scenic valleys and half-lit alleys of colorful old markets, each place suggests and entices romantic opportunity. But such encounters are not allowed in this culture. The situation remains restrained, until Joe and Sam, becoming fast friends, find themselves alone in a tented camp in the Sahara.

Love can develop in all situations, regardless of, and even in spite of, the circumstances. Come meet Joe and Sam and follow their adventures across Morocco and find out if they can make their love last longer than Joe’s vacation, and overcome the distance of an ocean and beliefs which may keep them apart.

“One who prevades the great universe is seen by none unless a man knows the unfolding love”.  (Moroccan Proverb)

………and both Jonathan (Joe) and Sameer (Sam) found their own unfolding love in the scorching heat (not only in temperature but also in sexual tension) of Morocco.

I’ve been to Morocco and this book by PJ Nevada reminded me why I need to go back.  I loved the hustle and bustle of the country itself, their rich culture, historical heritage and especially the Moroccan people themselves.  They are a hospitable nation and though very religious, pretty easy going.

But there are rules.  Some legal, some social etiquette – but these must be observed as strictly as their legal laws.

Jonathan finds this out for himself when he meets and falls in love with Sameer, his personal guide on a holiday to Morocco.

They say that love can conquer all, but can it when traditional culture and family responsibilities are ingrained into you from an early age?

The author tackled a very difficult subject with style (granted it was a very sexy style but we are talking PJ Nevada here!).  He didn’t preach on the wrongs of the uneducated and bigots that sour the world we live in but delivered the facts and realities facing Jonathan and Sameer in taking their love to the next level of commitment rather than a quick holiday fling.  I was routing for them all the way.

I like this Guided Series, I always feel that PJ has personally visited the countries featuring, his descriptive prose and spot on research breathing life into the storylines and I seriously hope that he is a well-seasoned traveller, as I need more.

Five Guided Heart felt stars from me.

TITLE: Hard Act to Follow
SERIES: Shooting Stars – book 4
PUBLISHER: Liquid Silver Books
GENRE: Contemporary
PRICE: $ 4.73 e-book on Amazon
LENGHT: 119 pages
RELEASE DATE: 25tht June 2016

BLURB:  Greg Dwyer and Kyrie Li are living the glorious couple life in New York City. Or are they? When struggling actor Kyrie lands a modeling job, he’s ecstatic to have extra cash to spend on his best-friend-turned-boyfriend.

Of course, Greg is suspicious Anders Berglund, the gorgeous and androgynous Swedish cover model the designers love to pair with Kyrie, is after his man. And maybe Kyrie encourages a growing closeness with the guy?

Greg is probably to blame if Kyrie is drawn to the openly gay and seriously beautiful Andy. With Andy, Kyrie can be himself, as loud and proud as he’s always been. But Greg’s sexuality stays firmly locked in the closest except when he’s with Kyrie’s supportive family or alone with the man he loves.

To make matters worse, Greg’s out-of-touch mom meets with financial ruin and moves in with the couple, forcing him into the closet in his own home.

Can Greg find a way to stand up to Mommy Dearest and win back a love he fought so hard to reach? He discovers the road to pride begins at home and with accepting oneself first. Otherwise, it’s just a dead-end street. Book 4 in the Shooting Stars series.

Balancing Act is the 4th book of “Shooting stars” series by Kimber Vale.

After reading the third book “Hard Act to Follow”, I was really excited to meet Greg and Kyrie again. At the end of book 3, they were deeply in love and now did not have to hide or even pretend that they didn’t have feelings for each other, which is what love should be all about.
But love is never easy and the more we learn about Greg, the more we learn about his fears as well. It’s not just admitting that he and Kyrie are more than just friends, more than just roommates, but now lovers!  And I would love to tell you that that’s all, but its not….that is just the tip of the iceberg!
I loved the way the author showed us how they have both grown as individuals, facing their fears and difficulties. It became a very compelling storyline, I was glued to the pages especially how Greg admits to his jealousies and his fear to admitting that though he married a woman, he now loves a man.
But it not only that that Greg had to contend with, his mother is a big problem too and mix that up with Kyrie not wanting to be introduced as the brother of Greg’s ex-wife anymore, you can see why Greg’s fears seem so very real to him.
Now Kyrie is different. He faces every situation head on and therefore becomes the pillar that supports and holds Greg’s world together.
I really loved this book: the plot, the love and the fears that form this story.
The author managed to complete what was left incomplete from the previous book.
I also liked the introduction of some new characters, these friends of Kyrie and Greg gave a certain vivacity to the storyline, which I immensely enjoyed.
The author wrote a compelling story, it touches you, highlighting the fears that anyone and everyone can have.
I really recommend it.

TITLE: Only Forever
AUTHOR: Scotty Cade
PUBLISHER: Dreamspinner Press
GENRE: Contemporary
PRICE: $ 4,99 e-book on Dreamspinner Press
LENGHT: 134 pages
RELEASE DATE: 30th November 2016

BLURB: Master Captain Theodore Gourdin has always loved the ocean. But his devotion to maritime life left little possibility for a long-term relationship. After two failed marriages, Theo gave up on finding the person who completed him and decided the sea was his soul mate. When offered the opportunity to captain the newly launched megayacht Eternity, Theo jumped at the chance. With Eternity’s maiden voyage looming, Theo focused all his energies on hiring his crew and readying his ship. The last thing he expected was to finally lose his heart in the process.

After twelve years at sea, First Officer Heath Rawlins was restless and in need of a change. A gay seaman’s life could be a lonely one, but to Heath the positives far outweighed the negatives. With excellent recommendations and an impressive résumé, he was quickly offered a position on the private megayacht Eternity. Heath’s heart skipped several beats when he finally met the ship’s captain. He was handsome and charming. And… familiar? Had they met somewhere before? Highly unlikely. But as smitten as Heath was with the gorgeous captain, everything inside him screamed, Abandon ship! Rough seas ahead!

Only Forever by Scotty Cade is a modern fairy tale set on board of Eternity, a megayacht that has to be sailed to Fort Lauderdale US. And really a fairy tale it is.

Both Theo and Heath love being at sea and can’t imagine living somewhere else than on board of a merchant vessel or mega yacht. When the position of first officer on board of the Eternity is given to Heath, he has no doubts and accepts gladly.

During his first dinner with Heath is very much aware of Theo’s presence. Theo is good to look at, easy to talk to so much so that Heath really does not want the evening to end.

Theo is having a similar attraction to Heath but with a deeper feeling that there is more to their meeting than meet’s the eye. From there on both Theo and Heath are more and more atttracted to each other.

I like how Scotty Cade is weaving his fairy tale in a nautic setting, and being Dutch, I liked reading about some parts of the Netherlands, But I did find that parts of the story took slow to develop and had to much nautical slang used. This is to highlight the love both characters have for the sea, but I found that it distracted to much. I did like the parts of the fairy tale that went back to another time though. The impression of never ending love it is giving is so sweet. As a modern day faity tale this story is really sweet with the happy ever after ending it deserves.
